Some kind words from Laura and Liam about their Coombe Abbey wedding images on their return from an amazing honeymoon in Mexico…..
“We are now back from honeymoon and had the chance to look at the photos properly and we love them :)”
A Coombe Abbey wedding is always an amazing day, so it was great when Laura and Liam got in touch and asked me to capture their day for them. We chatted through their plans for the day as we did an engagement shoot with their labrador Luna. I was to capture their day in a documentary style, with a few more formal family group images and a whole group aerial shot on the terrace.
The weather was variable on the morning of the wedding, but Laura and Liam were determined to hold their wedding outside, which proved to be the right decision. The outside setting is beautiful and the weather played ball, the rain magically waited until they were sat down for the wedding breakfast later in the day.
Laura and bridesmaids got ready at Coombe Abbey in one of their beautiful bedrooms – the colours are rich, the window light beautiful, which all lends to the day and the images. The couple chose a traditional romantic theme for their day with subtle Cappuccino colours which really fitted a Coombe Abbey wedding. As Liam was also getting ready at the hotel I was able to capture his preparations as well.
One of the key moments was when Laura walked down the aisle with her father, looking absolutely stunning in a Ronald Joyce dress, with Coombe Abbey as a backdrop behind. I also love the expression on Liam’s face as he waits for Laura to arrive.
These are a few of my favourite image which hopefully give a flavour of Laura and Liam’s day. they are followed by a few thoughts from both of them…
