About Sarah Wedding Photographer Leicestershire & across the UK
A little about me…
To be a photographer I think you have to be passionate about people. I love what I do. Having started my working life as a teacher, I retrained and began photographing weddings 14 years ago. I have covered all types of ceremonies, from the smallest to the largest in locations across the country. Each wedding is different and that’s what I enjoy. I am a full-time professional photographer and an active member of the SWPP and the RPS. I have won a number of awards for my wedding photography, the most recent being from the SWPP (Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers) in the category Wedding Photojournalism. My qualifications include an MA in Photography and ARPS (Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society).
What I Do
I capture weddings in a very relaxed, natural and unobtrusive way, a little more about my style can be found here. As I said, each wedding is different and your wedding is all about you, so if you like my images please get in contact to chat about your plans and thoughts for your day or to check my availability. As a wedding photographer Leicestershire provides a central location for wedding photography in the Midlands and further afield.
As well as shooting weddings I also work to briefs creating atmospheric documentary images for clients including the Jockey Club, Royal Ascot and The British Legion across the UK and Ireland.
When I haven’t got a camera in my hand I can be found walking our two chocolate Labradors, Ted and Ollie, at a spin or yoga class, or trying not to capsize my small dinghy on Swarkestone Water.
Where I Am
I am centrally based in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, a few minutes from Junction 10 or 11 of the M42. This enables me to work as a wedding photographer in Leicestershire, Derbyshire and across the UK. 2017 includes trips to Ireland, Devon and the Cotswolds as well as the church across the road. If you would like to discuss your ideas for your wedding day please get in contact.
