A little about me…
To be a wedding photographer I think you have to combine a passion for people with a love of photography. I love what I do and have been capturing weddings since 2002. Your wedding will be different to all others and that’s what I enjoy, capturing the story of your day for you. I have covered all types of ceremonies, from the smallest to the largest, in locations across the country. I have won a number of awards for my photography, the most recent being from the SWPP (Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers) in the category Wedding Photojournalism. My qualifications include an MA in Photography and ARPS (Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society). As a professional photographer I am fully insured with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
What I Do
I capture weddings in a very relaxed, natural and unobtrusive way, creating a story of your day in images. I love natural images which capture emotions, moments, people and often humour. Your day will be unique and my aim will be to capture what it looked like and just as importantly what it felt like.
My style is a relaxed documentary photographic style capturing your day as it unfolds however if you would like a few more formal group photographs that’s fine, we will meet before your wedding day to discuss your plans for your day.
As well as weddings I also work to briefs creating atmospheric documentary images for clients including the Jockey Club, the British Legion and Royal Ascot across the UK and Ireland.
When I haven’t got a camera in my hand I can be found walking our two chocolate Labradors, Ted and Ollie, at a spin or yoga class or trying to avoid capsizing my small dinghy on Swarkestone Water.
Where I Am
I work across the Midlands and UK from my new base in the Cotswolds. My recent move allows me to easily travel to my former area of Ashby de la Zouch Leicestershire as well as much further afield.
